What's Happening in the Class

Week Beginning - 26th February 2024

On Monday, we did fun games in PE like 'bomb'.  At clubs on Tuesday, P5/7 were gardening, putting down some woodchips and weeding.  On Wednesday, we had science - we planned a water filter.  We will be making it next week.  Art on Thursday was really good, we made a piece of art representing the Hindu celebration Holi.  On Friday, we all went swimming at Speyside High.  It was fun.

Week Beginning - 11th March 2024

On Monday, we went on a walk to Blairfindy Castle and had our lunch there.  It was a cold day!!  On Tuesday, I took part in the Knockando Small School Cross Country Running.  It was really fun and I came in 7th place.  In RME, we were learning about Easter.  In art, we finished off our 3D characters from World Book Day.  At swimming, we had a challenge.  The challenge was to do 11 lengths or over to have a fun session next week.  We met the challenge and are looking forward to next week!

Week Beginning 22nd April 2024

I've been enjoying maths this week, I was measuring weight and capacity.  It was quite tricky but fun at the same time.  On Wednesday, the whole class went to the Science Centre in Aberdeen.  We learned about the water cycle and got to play with the science equipment.  Miss Fowler did some problem solving and some artwork with us.  The P4/7 children did rugby on Friday too.
